DESCRIPTION:Oil-based paints that are disposed or burned for energy recovery are generally subject to full regulation as ignitable hazardous wastes. However\, the Universal Waste (鈥淯W鈥�) Rule provides an avenue for substantially reducing the applicable requirements for widely generated hazardous wastes\, including paint wastes. \nDuring this free webinar\, Aaron Goldberg\, a Principal with the law firm Beveridge & Diamond\, will provide background on the UW Rule as it currently applies to other wastes\, such as batteries\, light bulbs\, and aerosol cans.
